Wit-craft & Wizardry

A secret name is a powerful thing that can only be read by another wizard. It reflects a person’s fate, their ideals, their experiences, and their moment-to-moment feelings and thoughts. It is a contradiction – ever changing, yet ever the same. A secret name can be used to enslave the soul of another or conjure even worse fates for those who reveal their names, but others practice it in the form of a party game – often played over tea and snacks – between old friends testing their wit and spellcraft, or between newfound friends as an act of trust.
